Aux Projects is a collective workgroup and virtual exhibition space created to highlight the musical/soundwork of visual artists while creating an opportunity for them to develop a broader project incorporating the two, often, separate practices. Through a collaborative effort, the participating artists will create works ranging from video to performance to the creation of unique objects - all fusing sound and visual.
The goal of Aux Projects is twofold. To offer exposure not only to the visual work of local artists but also their joint practice as musicians and sound artists. Secondly, to pool the resources and talents of the artists involved to create new works that individually may have been unmanageable or out of the artist’s skill set.
