Steuart Pittman arrived in Oakland via Chicago two years ago to attend Mills College where he received his MFA in 2009. His musical moniker is known as Boomerang Boomerang where Pittman makes music through “a sort of veil, or a layer of personal removal”. Balancing an ever-changing array of cover songs and original compositions. He has sung, academically lectured, and lip synched his recordings in an array of unconventional settings and as varying characters throughout the Bay Area.
